SHIPPING

Here at Travelling Man we are committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility by reusing boxes for our packaging where possible. By reusing materials, we reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a greener, more eco-friendly future.


We process orders 5 days a week so if your order is completely in stock and placed before 2pm Monday to Friday we aim to dispatch your order on the same day. Orders placed on a Saturday and Sunday will be collected by a courier on Monday excluding national Bank Holidays.

If an in stock order is placed after 2pm it will be dispatched the next working day Monday to Friday.

If your order contains something that is currently out of stock, for example a pre-order product, the order will not be shipped until all products for the order are available. Please bear this in mind when placing your order.

Once your order has shipped you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Our courier will then send tracking information for your order.

DPD: Estimated Delivery Time: Next working day Monday to Friday

Royal Mail Tracked 24: Estimated Delivery Time: 1-2 working days Monday to Friday

Royal Mail Tracked 48: Estimated Delivery Time: 2-3 working days Monday to Friday

The estimated delivery times noted above are, as stated, estimates. While we will always dispatch your order in a timely manner, once it is in the hands of Royal Mail or DPD we sadly have no control over the time your order takes to reach you. In almost all cases, Royal Mail and DPD will deliver your order within the estimated timescales noted, but there may be, at times, slight delays in orders reaching you. All orders that we send out have tracking information though, so if you are ever concerned about the progress of your order in its journey to you, you should be able to easily track it through either Royal Mail or DPD’s website.

Additionally, due to their location, the following postcodes are subject to extended delivery times:
GY, HS, IM, JE, KW15-17, PA49, PA60-PA75, PA78, PH30, PH41-PH44, TR21-TR25, ZE2-ZE3

What should I do if my order hasn’t arrived?

The majority of our orders are now shipped via Royal Mail.

If your order has been shipped through Royal Mail then you should work through the following steps:

If it has been 4 or less working days since your order was shipped, then we’d ask that you give it a little more time. In most cases, the delay is simply due to heavy postal traffic for Royal Mail or DPD and they will be endeavouring to get your order to you as quickly as possible.

If it has been between 5 and 14 working days since your order was shipped, then your order has been officially delayed or Royal Mail has either left it at your property or with a neighbour, or classed it as undeliverable. Our advice is that you should again check your tracking details for any updates, as this will probably give a clear indication of the progress of your order. If the tracking details list your parcel as delivered, check any sheds or outbuildings on your property and ask any neighbours if a parcel has been left with them. 

If it has been more than 14 working days since your order was shipped, and you still have not received it, Royal Mail will class your parcel as lost. Please email us, stating that you have not received your order and we will begin the process of claiming back the cost of the item from Royal Mail. It is possible that Royal Mail may contact you to confirm that the claim is genuine. We will, at this point, either send you a replacement for your order or issue a refund to you.

We can only issue a refund to you after 14 days have passed since your order was dispatched. In cases where we are shown proof of delivery by Royal Mail we may be unable to issue a refund.

If your order has been shipped through DPD, our advice is that you monitor your tracking details through the DPD website. Though the majority of DPD orders are delivered on the next day following their dispatch, there may be occasions where they are unfortunately delayed. If 5 working days have passed since your order was dispatched through DPD, and you still haven’t received it, we would ask you to contact us directly. We will then launch an investigation with them to determine what has happened to your order. We will then dispatch a replacement for your order, or issue a refund.

We offer free delivery on all orders over £60. Free delivery orders will be sent either via Royal Mail Tracked 24 or DPD.

You will be sent a collection notification usually within 2 hours of placing the order Monday-Friday. We are open for collections Monday-Friday between 9am-4:30pm. (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day)

RETURNS

Products can be returned for any reason within 14 days of the original purchase. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it. 

It is your responsibility to ensure items are returned as new, in the same condition in which they were received. Travelling Man Limited reserve the right to refuse a return or make a deduction for the loss in value of any goods supplied - if the loss is a result of unnecessary handling by you. This does not apply to items being returned due to manufacturing faults or items received by the customer already damaged (see below).

(You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.)

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. 

Product arrived damaged or defective:

Products with manufacturing faults or products received by the customer already damaged, can be returned within 30 days of the initial purchase. We will endeavor to replace your product with the same product, if possible. If this is not possible, we will refund the full amount.
