Pure Metallic Pigment Set (4 colors)

Green Stuff World's Pure Metallic Pigments are powdered pigments made from real metals, designed to create highly realistic metallic finishes in model making, miniatures, scale models, fine arts, and crafts. Their natural luster and reflective properties allow for much more authentic effects than those of conventional metallic paint, adding depth, luminosity, and a truly metallic finish to all types of surfaces.

These pigments can be mixed with acrylic medium, varnishes, resins, paints, pigment fixative, or other compatible binders to create custom metallic paints, metallic glazes, weathering effects, intense reflections, or high-quality decorative finishes. They can also be combined with acrylic colors to modify tones, enrich mixtures, and create unique variations of gold, copper, bronze, steel, or other aged or polished metals.

Thanks to their real metallic composition, these pigments also allow for controlled oxidation effects using suitable oxidizing agents, achieving ultra-realistic finishes impossible to reproduce with conventional synthetic pigments. For best results, it is recommended to apply the pigments to matte or slightly rough surfaces, working in thin layers and adjusting the ratio of medium or fixative to avoid losing metallic intensity.
