The Battle of the Divas

Opera has always been a spectacle of great emotions, unbridled passions, and legendary rivalries. But few have reached the magnitude of the rivalry between Maria Callas and Renata Tebaldi, two sopranos who not only dominated the most prestigious stages of the 20th century but also divided critics, conductors, and opera fans into two irreconcilable camps.

In Battle of the Divas, players take on the roles of Maria Callas and Renata Tebaldi in their battle for operatic supremacy. Throughout the game, each diva will perform great operas, accrue fame, and star in key moments of her career in a timeline that chronicles her legacy.

The goal is to earn more victory points than your opponent, which is achieved through various strategies:

Perform iconic operas in the most prestigious theaters.

Shrewdly manage the Diva cards, which include historical events, special abilities, and key moments in her career.

Mastering the piano and expanding your vocal range is key to unlocking new musical opportunities.

Managing influence in the orchestra and fame in the theaters will allow you to modify the timeline and gain decisive advantages.

The game ends when five operas have been performed. At that point, the points earned in the theaters, the orchestra, the piano, and the timeline are tallied to determine who has left the most indelible mark on the history of opera.

Will it be Callas's overwhelming charisma or Tebaldi's vocal perfection that conquers glory? Only the stage will tell.
