Khemrian Warsphinxes are giant leonine statues created to roam the chambers of royal pyramids, guarding the inner sanctums of great Tomb Kings. In battle, they wade through the ranks of their foes, blows glancing off their stone hides as they crush the living underfoot like bothersome insects. Tomb Guard elites stand atop the Warsphinx's back in an ornate howdah, laying into the enemies below with great, double-handed spears and safeguarding the royalty who sometimes elect to ride alongside them.
This multipart plastic kit builds a Khemrian Warsphinx, a howdah-bearing living statue for the Tomb Kings of Khemri. The Warsphinx offers a choice of forelimb poses for trampling foes, and can be built with a bladed tail or venomous stinger. It comes with four spear-wielding Tomb Guard crew, who can be mounted within the finely decorated howdah to finish off whatever's left.
This kit also includes a Tomb King, who can ride within the howdah or be assembled on foot with a separate base. The kit can alternatively build a Necrosphinx, a war-construct equipped with huge scything blades.
This kit comprises 88 plastic components, and comes with 1x Citadel 25mm Square Base, and 1x Citadel 60x100mm Rectangular Base. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
