Zona: Scavengers Wish Expansion

The scavengers head to Zona once again to find the Source. However, Zona is not the same as it used to be.

It is said that a few weeks ago someone reached the legendary Source in the ruins of the Chernobyl power plant. A metaphysical anomaly hidden in the heart of Zona itself, supposedly with the ability to reshape reality based on people’s wishes. Yet, Zona fulfills the wishes of scavengers in a perverse way. The rumor says that the Source distorted the will of its explorer and spit out new nightmares. The Source used a great portion of its power pushing away the threat of final emission for some time...

ZONA: Scavenger’s Wish – is an expansion to the board game Zona: The Secret of Chernobyl. It adds additional elements to the base game experience, as well as new mechanics:

• 2 new scavengers - Deserter & Mechanic.
• Persistence die - this new die has no negative modifiers, but it greatly increases your chances of gaining radiation or fatigue.
• Meeting on the trail - new deck of cards, that will increase interactions between scavengers. Depending on the attitude you choose, the encounter can be friendly or hostile. 
• Companions - use unactive scavengers as useful help during your journey through Zona.
• Tasks - new events, which will give you more unexpected encounters while exploring Zona.
• Fortune cards - special cards, often gained after failing a test, allow you to turn things around when it matters most. Now you can balance your odds or optimize your actions.
• Bunker Event deck.- now you can draw an event card even while staying inside a bunker.Bunkers are safe havens in the chaos of Zona… these events won’t harm you. Unless you choose to take a risk.
• Team play wariant - now you can explore Zona together with another player. 

Zona: The Secret of Chernobyl base game is required for this expansion.
